![]() The sleek animation blends the great anime inspired style of the main series with horrifically satisfying elements from Dracula’s past. This film scared the living daylights out of me as a kid and certain moments from the horror story get burnt into your mind. It is very entertaining to see the gothic atmosphere take center stage here as Batman is drop into a narrative from classic genre decade, the 1930s, that helped inspire him. This is just a fun Batman story with a backdrop that pays wondrous homage to classic Universal monster films. First off, I loved this show growing up and this is a great extension of that underrated animated series. When Penguin accidentally wakes him up it is to The Batman to stop him and his army of the undead. ![]() When Penguin and The Joker race to find a fabled mob treasure in the heart of Gotham Cemetery they got more then they bargain for as they find Dracula’s tomb. Dracula(2005), directed by Michael Goguen, is simply a great gothic horror film with a superhero twist.
